He was a native of Atlanta, attended the Darlington School and Georgia State University. Lived in Atlanta the rest of his life. He is survived by two daughters, Shelton Cozza and Colleen Cowan, and three sisters, Gayden Truluck, Alison Turner and Shelton Knoepfel. Family requests donations be made to Kennestone Memorial Hospital, Intensive Care Unit.
