Vicky Marie Jackson

Vicky Marie Jackson, 86, of Marietta, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. She was a devoted wife, mother, NANA and cherished friend, whose love and kindness touched the lives of many.

Vicky was born on March 3, 1938, in Belmont, NC, to the late Lewis and Ruby Burnette. She was a loving sister to her late best friend, Greta Hoffman and brother Ray Burnette.

Throughout her life, Vicky found joy in various occupations, but her true passion was caring for her two grandchildren. She was a beacon of light and love, always putting others before herself. Vicky’s faith in the Lord was unwavering, guiding her through life’s challenges and bringing her comfort and strength.

Vicky’s hobbies included cooking delicious meals, shopping for treasures, singing hymns of praise and showering her dogs with affection. Her warm presence and genuine care for those around her created a home filled with love and laughter.

Vicky was married to the love of her life, Billy Ray Jackson, for 66 years, a testament to the enduring bond and commitment to each other. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Elaine) Jackson, grandchildren Trenton (Chelsea) Jackson, Mollie Jackson and great-grandchildren Wake and Sutton Jackson. Vicky also leaves behind a loving extended family and a circle of amazing friends who will miss her dearly.

Her legacy of love, faith and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and cherished.
