Thomas Edward Lee

Reverend Thomas Edward Lee, age 94 of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

Thomas was a Native of Marietta, GA for 94 years. There he resided with the love of his life, Helen, and together they raised three children. Thomas was in the Air Force and proudly served his country. After leaving the Air Force, he worked for USPS until he retired. He was ordained to preach the Gospel in 1966. Thomas proudly pastored six churches throughout his life. He continued preaching until the young age of 93 when his health began to fail. His life verse was Galatians 2:20. He is now experiencing all the beauties of Heaven he preached about for so many years. He is now reunited with his love, Helen, and all those gone before him.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lee. He is also preceded by his mother, Lydia Lee and his father, Sherman Lee; brother, Bunk Lee; sisters, Betty Lee, Lib Waters, Joann Dickenson; and several nieces and nephews. Thomas is survived by his three children, Gary (Judy) Lee, Cynthia (Daniel) Smith, and Kimberly Lee; grandchildren, Dana, Shannon, Matthew and Megan, Justin and Angela, Chris and Katie, Haley and Shane, Nicholas, Tyler, Tanner, and Bradee; great grandchildren, Brianna, Brittany, Macey, Henry, Hunter, Jack, Charlotte, Jasper, Emer, Emmie, and Eli; brother in law and sister in law, Gary and Chloe Cofer; along with several nieces and nephews.
