🌹 Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Suzette Linzer, age 64, on November 16, 2025. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Suzette was the cherished daughter of the late Virginia Ann Vinson and Sammy Linzer, Sr.
Suzette lived a life marked by love, service, and devotion. She proudly served in the U.S. Army and later dedicated herself to helping others as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Human Resources Coordinator, working alongside her sisters, retiring from Nue Beginning Residence Home, Inc. Her faith was central to her journey, and she was a devoted member of Seven Springs Church in Lithia Springs, GA, under the leadership of Pastor Randy and Kharie Coggins.
Suzette leaves behind a large and beautiful family who will forever treasure her memory. She is survived by her siblings Sandra & Marvin Chambers, Sonya & Michael Craig, Sammy Jr. & Cherye Linzer, and Derek & Maria Major.
She was a beloved aunt to many, including her nephew and godson Rahee McKinnon, a bond she cherished deeply. She was also a beloved aunt to Lenora Bissoondial & Cassandra Newsome, Rahee & Elizabeth McKinnon, Shaqunnah & Timothy Wright, Kiresten Chambers, Ashley Linzer, Sammy Linzer III, Sean Baldwin, Demar Major, Terry & Denise Craig.
She was a proud great-aunt to Kyle Bissoondial, Dashawn Bissoondial, Inerjee Ward, Rahmir McKinnon, and Dante Bissoondial, and a great-great aunt to Amelia Sherilyn Bissoondial, Khai Alexander Bissoondial, Kari Bissoondial, Nathan James Pena-Wright, Jenesys Williams, Nah’Zyiah, Ziehyier & Azarhia Walker, and India Ward.
Suzette is also survived by her maternal aunts and uncle: Shirley Shelton, Florence Lewis, Sylvester & Ethel Vinson, cousins Darius Vinson & Walter Harvey, Lamont & Donna Shelton, Robert Shelton, Curtis Harris, Lula Harris, Beverly Porter, Steven & Michelle Harris, Anisa Vinson, and countless extended family members blessed with her unforgettable presence.
She now joins in eternal rest her niece, Samantha Linzer; nephew, Anthony D. Bissoondial; aunts, Carolyn Vinson and Cora Lee Harris; uncles, Arthur Vinson and Robert Shelton; cousin, Robert Lewis; and great-nephew, Rahee D. McKinnon.
She also shared sisterhood and lifelong friendship with Gloria Anderson, Linda Chester, and Toni Jackson.

Suzette’s legacy is one of compassion, strength, and unwavering faith. She touched countless lives with her warmth and grace, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

We gather to honor the life and legacy of Suzette Linzer: Date: Monday, November 24, 2025 Location: West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064 Family & Friends Viewing: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Homegoing Service: Immediately following visitation Interment: Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens, 581 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA 30126 Repast: Ron Anderson Recreation Center, 3820 Macedonia Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127 Family and friends are warmly invited to join.
