Susan Wangechi Migwi

Susan Wangeci Migwi, affectionately known as “Suu,” passed away peacefully on August 28th, 2024 at 10:18 am EST, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital after a 14-hour heart surgery.

Born on August 23, 1975, in Thika Kamwangi, Gatundu Kenya, Susan was the beloved daughter of Arcadius Migwi and Maria Wanjiku. She was the last born of 11 children, surrounded by a loving family of five sisters and six brothers. Susan was also a cherished aunt and cousin to many.

A dedicated educator by profession, Susan's infectious smile and warm personality brightened the lives of all who knew her. Her passion for teaching was evident in her commitment to her students and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Susan's greatest joy was her family and friends. She loved spending time with her loved ones, creating lasting memories and sharing countless laughs. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A funeral service to celebrate Susan's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way, Washington.
