Stacy Jones

Mr. Stacy Leon Jones, age 45, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Monday, July 11th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs. Burial will follow at 3pm at Sugar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches, GA.
Born in Ellijay, Mr. Jones lived most of his life in Powder Springs. He graduated from McEachern High School, and stayed active with the band’s booster club. He worked in fleet maintenance for the Cobb County School System for the past 14 years, and enjoyed serving as a Boy Scout Leader for the past 18 years. He also taught Sunday school class for middle school children at St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McEachern Band Booster Club, or to the Boy Scout Troop #1294 in Powder Springs. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4pm until 7pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
