She worked almost 30 years as a telemetry specialist at Good Samaritan Hospital and for 10 years she graciously opened her home as a foster mother to children from the Boston area. In 2005, she and her husband retired to Powder Springs, GA where she was active in Trinity Chapel Church of God now Seven Springs Church. There, she served as a mentor and prayer warrior.
