Roberta B. Suttles

Roberta Beck Suttles, 86, of Austell, Georgia passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025. Born on April 10,1939 in Atlanta, she graduated from West Fulton High School where she played basketball and was a member of the marching band. She attended Georgia State. Roberta retired from Southern Bell as a Group Chief Operator. Thereafter, she was devoted to her children, grandchildren and her community where her hard work and leadership earned her the Lifetime Achievement Award from the South Cobb Council of PTAs. She also served as a Brownie troop leader, youth softball coach, Cobb County School’s Performing Arts Program usher, and an election worker for many years. Roberta was a devoted Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Braves fan.

Roberta is survived by her two daughters, Karen Williams (Kevin) and Cindy Brake (Allan) and her four grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Williams and Abby and Andrew Brake.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Melvin Suttles.

Family will receive friends Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. Private graveside service to follow.
