Robert Hexter McMichael, Sr.

Robert Hexter McMichael, Sr., 84, of Hiram, Georgia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 15th, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 2, 1940. He was a son of the late William McMichael, Jr., and May McMichael. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings Helen, William, and Gerald. 

He is survived by his loving wife, sue, of 52 years. He leaves behind his son, Bobby (Cori) McMichael; his daughter’s Angie McMichael, Lori (Tom) Beyl, Tracy Zeman, Janie (Tad) Rappe, and Pam (Troy) Ives; granddaughter Kylie, as well as, eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. His sister Barbara and brother’s Frank, Richard, Brian, Donald, and Timothy. He had a love for animals, especially dogs. He left behind his Great Pyrenees, Jack Frost, who he loved with all his heart. He also loved Georgia Bulldog football, fishing, and going to the casino. He was a man of faith, who loved the Lord with all his heart. He embodied kindness and loved to make people smile.
