Robert Lester Loyd, 91 of Powder Springs passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013. Services will be 2pm Tuesday in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Burman Cape Jr. and Rev. Keith Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park.
Mr. Loyd was retired from Lockheed as a Flight Line Inspector and was a former Mason. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his children, Beverly Rubert and Tommy Loyd.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Loyd; Brother, Arthur Loyd; six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6pm – 8pm.
