Reginald Dessources

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Reginald "Reggie" Dessources, who left this world on September 11, 2025 at the age of 62 after a brave fight with liver cancer.

Born on May 25, 1963, Reginald lived a life of purpose, principle, and love. He dedicated his career as a supply teacher to guiding and inspiring the next generation. His passion for education shone through every lesson, and he found deep joy in shaping young minds with patience, care, and wisdom.

Outside the classroom, Reginald embraced life with energy and laughter. He loved reading, playing soccer with his friends, and spending time around a table filled with cards, dominoes, and good company. He was a man who appreciated simple joys and good entertainment, and his presence always brought warmth and light to those around him.

Above all, Reginald was a devoted family man. He put his loved ones before himself in every way, never concerned with what he wore on his back so long as his family was cared for and fulfilled. Alongside his wife, he raised his children with unwavering love, guidance, and high principles - values that continue to inspire them every day. His selflessness, strength, and moral character are the foundation of the legacy he leaves behind.

Reginald is survived by his loving wife, Wilnard, and his children, Rubens, Steve, and Stanley, and who will forever cherish his example of what it means to be a father, husband, and man of integrity. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, as a teacher, a friend, and most importantly, as the heart of his family.

A memorial service to celebrate Reginald's life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00am at Open Bible Church. All who were touched by his kindness, wisdom, and laughter are welcome to attend and honor his memory.

Though his passing leaves a profound void, Reginald Dessources' spirit will continue to guide those who loved him, a lasting reminder of the power of love, sacrifice, and dedication to family.
