Rashaan Alexander

Rashaan Nicholas Alexander, age 51, passed away on January 18, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 4:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia. 

Rashaan Alexander was born on January 13, 1975. A lifelong lover of technology, Rashaan was exceptionally tech-savvy and had a deep passion for computers that shaped both his career and his daily life. Rashaan dedicated his professional life to education, working with the New York Board of Education where his knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm left a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike. 

Highly intelligent and endlessly curious, Rashaan was known for his cooking skills, his remarkable command of trivia — whether movies, books, or music — he could beat just about anyone hands down. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rashaan embraced life fully. He loved to travel, explore new cultures, and experience great food. An avid football fan, he was a loyal supporter of the Miami Dolphins, following the team with enthusiasm and pride.

Above all, Rashaan cherished his family. He was known as a loving husband and a supportive, devoted uncle, always present with encouragement, wisdom, and humor. He had a love of travel and found joy in exploring new places and cultures.

Rashaan met Max, his now wife, in 2015, and their shared love of food, travel, and discovery quickly brought them together. Their bond grew into a deep and enduring love.

Rashaan will be remembered for his brilliant mind, generous spirit, and the warmth he brought to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the knowledge he shared, and the love he gave so freely.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
