Randy began working for KForce as a Marketing Director in the Atlanta office. He was recognized as the Rookie of the Year in 1993 and as Consultant of the Year in 1994--the only person in the history of the company to achieve those awards in consecutive years. In 2014, he founded a boutique advisory firm, Human Capital Transformation. Randy joined Tek Partners as Chief Strategy Officer in 2016 and served as an executive advisor. He then served as President and CEO of Lucas Group from 2019 to 2021 and as Vice Chairman of Pro-Search and Interim Service Line at Korn Ferry until his retirement in 2022.
A true catalyst for change, Randy led by example, prioritizing his team’s success and fostering a culture of empathy and support. He was a selfless, empathetic leader, always putting his people before himself and striving to make a positive difference in the world. He was honest, authentic, affable, and kind. He provided guidance and mentorship, focused on helping people find success both personally and professionally. Randy will most be remembered for celebrating the success of others in big and small ways. He continually found opportunities, even in the most difficult times, to reward and acknowledge accomplishments, and to make those around him feel special. He cherished his faith, family, friends, and his beloved dogs. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and travel with friends, and loved entertaining with his pitmaster skills. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and were touched by his life.
