Patrick Vernon Ramsey

Patrick Ramsey, 63, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on April 24, 2026.

Patrick (Pat) was born on June 13, 1962 in Brockton, Massachusetts to Joseph and Mary Ramsey. He spent his life devoted to his family, his work, and especially to the outdoors, where he felt most at peace. Whether casting a line, tilling the garden or fixing a car, he found joy, reflection and connection in time spent outdoors. Being connected to nature wasn't a hobby to Pat; it was a part of who he was.

He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Janet Ramsey, the love of his life and steadfast partner. Together, they built a life rooted in love, comfort and unwavering support for each other.

Pat was a proud and devoted father to his son, Preston Ramsey, 24, and a caring stepfather to Josh (Katie) and Jourdan. He was a cherished and loving granddad to Cameron and Ethan, who brought him endless pride and joy. Nothing meant more to him than his family, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

He is also survived by his two brothers, Joe and Mike (Diane). Mike and Diane's adult children - Kimberly (Danny), Kristina, Crystal and Jennifer - held a special place in Pat's heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary, and by his sister-in-law, Kathy, the beloved wife of his brother Joe.

Memorial Service Announcement for Patrick Ramsey

A memorial honoring the life of Patrick Ramsey will be held on Thursday, June 25 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at West Ridge Church in Dallas. The service will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.

We invite all who knew and loved Pat to join us in celebrating his life and cherishing the many memories he leaves behind. Family and friends are welcome to come together in remembrance, reflection and gratitude for the time we shared with him.

In lieu of flowers, the Ramsey family requests that donations be made to Truth In Nature in honor of Pat's love for the water and the great outdoors.

He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be carried forward by those who loved him.
