Patricia "Celeste" Meeks

Our beautiful Patricia "Celeste" Meeks, age 65 of Hiram, Georgia who departed this life peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2025 of pancreatic cancer. 

Throughout her life, Celeste was a source of unwavering love, strength, and guidance to her family and friends. She married the love of her life, Denny Meeks and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Celeste enjoyed painting and spending time at their cottage near the beach in South Georgia which allowed quality time with Alicia, Gene and Madelyn who lives nearby. Her family members will laugh at this being mentioned in her obituary but here goes ... Celeste had what we'll call "great enthusiasm" for a spotless well organized home. If the girl didn't have a dish rag, dust cloth, vacuum or a mop in her hands something was definitely wrong!

Known for her unmatched work ethic and pride in a job well done, Celeste touched many lives through her dedication, generosity and sense of humor. Celeste's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends who were blessed to have known her.

Celeste is survived by her loving Husband, Denny Meeks; Daughter,  Alicia (Gene) Haney; Granddaughter Madelyn Haney; Stepchildren, Kelley Haley and her children Morgan & Landon, Tiffanie (Paul) Zabriskie and their family Kelsey (John), Lydia, Maleah, Kalina and Kavani; her Mother, Christine Carr; Sisters & Brother, Gail (Terry) Chumley, Kathy Cranford, Ilka (Rusty) Hubbard, Valerie Corbin, Renee (Steve) McCoy, Russell (Theresa)  Morris; and many other family members and friends who adored her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Father, John E. Morris Jr; Stepfather, Joseph Carr; Brother in laws, David Cranford and Ralph Corbin.
