Norma Lea Howard of Dallas, Georgia, age 92, passed away on May 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted follower of Christ and lived a life of faith, kindness, and confidence in the love of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
A graveside service will be held on June 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery at 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia 30060.
Norma was born on August 29, 1933, in Harlan, Kentucky to Dewey Howard and Rosa Howard. On October 15, 1954, Norma married Robert Jesse Howard, Sr. (“Bob”), to whom she was married for 52 years and lived in Powder Springs most of that time. She retired from Sears where she worked for over 30 years.
Norma was predeceased by her parents, Dewey and Rosa, her husband, Bob, and her seven siblings: Ralph Howard, John Howard, Allen Howard, Inez Rowlett, Delores Hickey, George Howard, and Peggy Richardson. Norma is survived by her two children, Bobby Howard (Chantay) and Mickie Wright; her three grandchildren, Alyssa Sitten (Bart), Matthew Wright, and Jesse Howard (Megan Matla); her four great-grandchildren, Brayden Howard, Camdyn Sitten, Kyler Sitten, and Wrenley Howard; and many nieces and nephews. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
