May Signe Neumann

May Signe Neumann, age 98, of Austell, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023. The family will receive friends and celebrate her life from 11am until 1pm at on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.

A native of Hartford, CT, Mrs. Neumann moved to Austell, GA 20 years ago. May's interests ranged from Fashion Modeling to Antique Dealer/Collector. She loved hunting for treasures at local yard sales and selling her "finds" at national craft shows. Her extensive collections of Depression Glass, Beanie Babies, and Antique Dolls were well known amongst dealers, as were her Shirley Temple, Dion Quintuplets and Ronald McDonald's memorabilia displays. May even found time to author a book, "The World and Shirley Temple".

She favored old movies and loved Dunkin' Donuts. May was generous to all and appreciative of those who cared for her and well loved by her family. Wherever she went, whomever she encountered...May left her "mark". She retired from the University of Connecticut School of Law, Hartford, CT, where she was the registrar for 20 years.

Survivors include: Daughter, Kathleen (Richard) Hagler, Austell, GA; 4 Granddaughters, Debbie (John) Sheahan, Julie (Oscar) Carmona, Milissa McCue, and Megan (Ray) Lovell; 10 Great Grandchildren.
