Mattie Lee Kemp, age 98, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8th from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born in Buford, GA, Mrs. Kemp lived most of her life in Cobb County. She worked at the W.T. Grant Company for 18 years, and was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Survivors: Son, John Eddie Kemp, Kennesaw, GA; Daughter, Kathy Goodwin, Resaca, GA; 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren
