Mary Carolyn Hester Roberts

Mary Carolyn Hester Roberts, age 82, passed away on September 23, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.

Carolyn was a native of Birmingham, AL and raised in Tuscumbia, AL. She graduated Deshler High School Class of 1960 and got her BA from Judson Women's College in Marion, AL. She moved to Savannah, GA working as a Georgia History teacher. In 1964 she married Cecil G. Pacetti, Jr. and then had two children Cecil and John, then moved to Dunwoody, GA where she had two more children, Ray and Joy. She divorced in 1986 and then married Pepper Roberts in 1994 until he passed in 2014. She work at Shaw and Baugh Associates until retirement, Carolyn volunteered at Kennestone Hospital after her retirement.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. Carolyn loved to cook, travel, loved watching football and baseball also. She always placed her faith in God and her love of family at the center of all of her choices. Active Mother with her children in Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Ballet, Tumbling, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Tennis, and absolutely loved playing Cards. Canasta and Bridge were her favorites.

Beloved daughter, niece, sister, cousin, wife x 2, widow, mother with 4 children, aunt, grandmother with 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and friend to many. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
