Mary Ellen Rivers

Mary Ellen Rivers, Age 92, of Marietta, Ga, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away in hospice at Tranquility Kennesaw, on the morning of July 25, 2025. Mary Ellen is survived by her Niece Michelle Rivers Barrett (Jeff) and Misty Rivers Ham (Mike) , and her nephew, Ed Rivers ,Jr. (Kelly). Mary Ellen was a beloved community member for her entire life, and she served Jesus as a loyal servant to the Lord her entire life She was a church secretary at Liberty Baptist Church for 30 years, and worked 3 full days a week at Fayette County, until her retirement of both at age 87. Mary Ellen requested no memorial service and wanted everyone to celebrate her homecoming to be with her Parents and Jesus. She would have loved if any donations be sent to American Cancer Society.
