Marlyn Althea Palomino-Minor passed away in April 2026, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and selfless love. Born to Vicente Palomino and Mavis Reid, Marlyn was an independent force who overcame numerous obstacles to establish a successful career as an Analyst for Plum Creek Timber Company.
Known for her "feisty strength," she was a pillar for her family—a devoted mother, a "second mother" to many, and a dependable sister and aunt. Her spirit of service remained until the very end; as an organ donor, she provided a second chance at life and sight to others.
"Finally at rest in her field of daisies."
She is survived by her children, Noel, Teleka, and Uwaine; her siblings, Angela, Marcia, Yvonne, Ricardo, and Lois; cherished grandchildren, one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and her boyfriend, Martin Weisbrat. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to their niece, Kellie, for her invaluable guidance during Marlyn’s medical transition, as well as the West Cobb Funeral Home and the Chaplain for their compassionate support.
