Mark Allen Marson, 69, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on March 31, 2026. Born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Mark lived a life centered around family, laughter, and making the most out of every moment.
Mark proudly served in the United States Army, achieving the rank of SP5. While he served his country with honor, his greatest accomplishment in life was being a father to his four daughters, a role he cherished deeply.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela “Pam” M. Marson; his daughter, LeAnn A. Menacho; his mother, Coreen Marson; and his sister, Jill Weller.
Mark is survived by his loving daughters: Kathlein M. Knox (Jimmy Knox), Trisha E. Marson, and Megan L. Halteman (Gregory Halteman); his son-in-law, Pedro Menacho, husband of his late daughter, LeAnn; and his cherished grandchildren: Pedro Menacho Jr., Allen Menacho, Paul Menacho, Anastasia Menacho, Rolando Menacho, Christian Knox, Zackariah Knox, Halley Knox, and Lucas Halteman and one great-grandchild: EiLeann Menach. He is further survived by his father, Robert Marson, and his sisters, Cyndi Coughlin and Kim Frew.
Mark will be remembered for his big heart, his playful spirit, and his ability to bring laughter to any situation. He was never afraid to be silly and always made sure those around him were smiling. His presence brought light and joy to his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 7, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a service at 6:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home, 2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, Georgia 30064.
