Margarita Diaz-Rodriguez, age 73, originally of Bayamón, Puerto Rico passed away Monday, September 16, 2024. Mrs. Díaz-Rodriguez was the oldest of three children from the marriage of Mother Maria Rodriguez Nevares and Father Juan Díaz Padilla, and subsequently older sister to her brother Juan Díaz Rodriguez and sister Felicita Díaz. Margarita’s parents both had passed away and so did her sister Felicita, a living resident of Austell, Ga Juan Díaz Rodriguez her only living brother. Mrs. Díaz Rodriguez lived most of her life in Hato Tejas, Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and graduated from Bayamón High School in 1969.

Margarita worked as a Pharmaceutical Machine Operator and became a Line Supervisor for the well-known company Baxter Pharmaceutical in Toa Alta Puerto Rico. Margarita was a Christian believer of the Disciples of Christ Church in Hato Tejas, Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and was very dedicated to working and taking care of her parents while they were alive. 

She was single and had no children, however, she embraced her love for her nephews Juan Alberto and Paul Michael Díaz-Maldonado and only niece Chanda Michelle Valera. She was a very loving and caring woman who loved her community, her friends, and her family with her whole soul and heart.

Her wish was to be buried with her parents back in Puerto Rico, for that reason she will be cremated. The family will hold a celebration service on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Hope220 Church located at 351 Thornton Rd. Ste 113 Lithia Springs GA 30122.

In place of flowers, the family has decided to receive a donation in cash for the help of memorial ceremony and burial expenses in Puerto Rico.
