Lyle Walter Martin

Lyle Walter Martin, Jr., age 86, of Marietta, GA, formerly of Bloomington, IN, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, GA. Born in Tulsa, OK, Mr. Martin and his wife lived in Bloomington, IN for 48 years before recently moving to Georgia with their daughter and her family. He worked as a marketing representative with Marathon Oil Company and retired after 42 years of service. Lyle was also a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving in WWII and was also a Mason. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Beverly Jean Martin; daughter, Sandra Geho and husband, Jeff of Marietta, GA and a grandson, Jeffrey Geho of Marietta.
