November 8, 1960 — January 19, 2026

Marietta, Georgia

Lori Jo Squirek - a beloved mother of two and lifelong educator - passed away in her home in Marietta, GA surrounded by close friends and family as well as her little dog Candy.

At an early age Lori loved creating art - making many wonderful intricate sculptures, illustrations, and sketches. Later in life Lori taught one of the first computer classes available in the country - introducing many young students to the wonders of the modern world. Lori also loved nature and always had a congregation of colorful birds outside her window. She was a source of life and joy to many in her community.

Lori is survived by her sister Bonnie, brother Richard, daughter Michelle, and son Justin.

Celebration of life ceremony is scheduled for Saturday January 31st at West Cobb Funeral Home. Guests are welcomed to arrive at 1pm to meet with the family. The ceremony will start at 2pm with a reception to follow.
