Linda Mary Wilkerson Greer, born April 27, 1949, passed away on December 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Linda was the beloved wife of Alan Zeppenfeld, with whom she shared wonderful years in their golden chapter of life. Together, they enjoyed the fellowship of their church community, the camaraderie of the Corvette club, and the constant companionship of their loyal dog.
Born to Bernard Volmer Wilkerson and Marion George Wilkerson, both of whom preceded her in death, Linda grew up in a close and lively family. She is survived by her sons-James Daniel (married to Michele, with whom he shares three sons), John Joseph (and his partner, Brigitte Parma), and Samuel Timothy (and his partner, Daniel Monier).
Linda is also survived by her siblings: Joan Sims, Sharon Harding, and Randy Wilkerson; and her half-sister, Mikki Burgess. She was preceded in death by her dear sister Susan Chemell and brother Timothy Wilkerson. She leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and their children, as well as her cousin Margie Wilkens with whom she shared a close and loving bond.
Linda lived a life filled with creativity, curiosity, and care. She loved to read, needlepoint, garden, and build beautiful hardscapes. She had a passion for collecting antiques and cultivated a warm, inviting home that reflected her eye for beauty. Her talent for holiday decorating was unmatched-her Christmas gatherings were beloved traditions, remembered for their elegance and joy.
Her sisters affectionately called her "the Queen," a nickname that captured her grace, quiet strength, and ability to gently but firmly share her honest feedback when it was needed. Linda was loving, loyal, and endlessly dependable-a constant source of support and warmth for her family and friends.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
