Keith Stanley Shelton

Keith Shelton, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on July 18, 1951, Keith lived a life filled with passion and creativity, leaving behind cherished memories for many.

Known for his dedication to crafting intricate ships, Keith found joy in the art of making and took immense pride in each creation. His love for gambling also provided him with much enjoyment, offering him an escape and companionable thrill that he treasured.

Keith is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Shelton, who stood by him throughout his life, sharing in both his triumphs and challenges. He was a caring father to his son, Brandon Shelton, and a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Eric Shelton and Kaylee Tippins. Keith’s legacy continues with his great-grandson, Brooks Shelton, who brought immense joy to his life. Additionally, he leaves behind his stepson, Chris Tippins, and his daughter-in-law, Dawn Shelton.

He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Shelton, who remains forever in the hearts of those who loved him.  Richard and Jerry Shelton (brothers), family also includes his ex-wife, Barbara Shelton, and his parents, Geneva and JR Shelton, who are now reunited with him.

Keith Shelton’s spirit will live on in the lives he touched and the stories he shared. He will be remembered not only for his artistic talents but also for the warmth he brought to those around him. His family and friends will carry his memory forward, celebrating his life and the legacy of love he left behind.
