Mr. Julian Richard Piper, age 86, of Marietta passed away Monday, July 9, 2012. Private services will be held at a later date.
A native of the Atlanta area, Mr. Piper lived in Marietta for the past 50 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during WWII. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company, retired after 35 years of employment, and was of the Baptist faith.

Brother: Sammy Piper, McDonough, GA
Sister: Mary Allums, Covington, GA
4 Grandchildren: Chad Bailey, Kayla Earls, Matthew Bailey and Kennedy Bailey
Great Grandson: Wesley Cohen Earls
