With faith placed in God and trusting in His infinite mercy, the family announces the passing of Juana López, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at 88 years of age. Although her departure leaves a deep emptiness, it also fills us with hope, knowing she has arrived at her Father’s Dwelling, where suffering and pain do not exist and peace reigns.
Juana López lived a full life anchored in Christ, her Savior and Redeemer. Her life was a reflection—through every gesture and act of service to others—of the light of the Gospel. She pioneered the ways of the Lord, leading her family to know Christ. She rose as a warrior and intercessor for her family. As a mother, she was incomparable, fighting to provide food and sustenance for her five children. She was selfless and always present when needed. Her kindness and humble spirit were a living testimony of the Gospel. Those who knew her thank God for the gift of her presence.
Today we commend her to the Lord, trusting that He receives her with open arms and grants her eternal rest. “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain,” (Philippians 1:21). May these words be a comfort to all who mourn her absence.
