Johnathan J. Lara Paiz

Johnathan Josue Lara Paiz, age 27, of Powder Springs, Georgia tragically passed away September 4, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 am on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Iglesia Torre Fuerte in Mableton, Georgia, with prayer services the night prior. Interment will follow the funeral service Sunday at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. Johnathan graduated from Hillgrove High School in 2015 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Johnathan possessed an adventurous spirit that led him to explore everything life had to offer, forging unbreakable bonds with friends and family along the way. A passionate learner, he embraced every opportunity to expand his knowledge. Johnathan cherished the moments spent with his loved ones, always prioritizing time with family and friends over everything else. He is survived by his parents: Henry and Alma Lara; three sisters: Jasmine (24), Darlynn (22), and Zafiro (17); and three pets: Shadow (dog, 6), Loki (dog, 5) and Mango (cat, 2). As we reflect on the beautiful memories of Johnathan's life, we carry forward his legacy of kindness, laughter, and adventure.
