John Benny Denson

Mr. John Benny Denson, age 80, of Marietta, GA passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Adam Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the ceremony.

Born in Rome, GA, Mr. Denson lived most of his life in Cobb County. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He worked as a printer for Three Penny Press and Ink One Communications, retired after over 40 years of employment. Mr. Denson was a longtime member of Macland Baptist Church. Other hobbies include drag racing at the old Dallas Dragstrip, his membership in the Creepers Car Club, and playing golf. He is preceded in death by a son, David Denson, and a brother, Kenneth Denson.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Mae Campbell Denson; son, James Phillip (Deborah) Denson, Marietta, GA; sister, Elaine Collins, Dallas, GA; 3 grandchildren, Katie Lovelady, Evan Denson, and Alex (Frances) Denson; 7 great grandchildren, Kam, Jace, Brianna, Demi, Lilly, Aryanna and Charlotte.
