Jewel Haddox Morgan

Mrs. Jewel Haddox Morgan, age 95, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Darrin Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Powder Springs. The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am prior to the ceremony at the funeral home.

Born in Marion County, Mississippi, Mrs. Morgan moved to Cobb County in 1950. She worked as a secretary for Tri-Sate Utility Products for many years. She was also a member of Macland Baptist Church, and she loved being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby F. Morgan and his parents, Fulton and Blanche Morgan, her parents, Vester and Letha Prine Haddox, and her sisters, Mary Rutland and Moree English.

She is survived by three children, Cheryl Morgan (George Jewsbury), Birmingham, AL, Jan (Richard) Doss, Powder Springs, GA, and John (Dawnmarie) Morgan, Vidalia, GA; five grandchildren, Matthew (Maureen) Doss, Bethany (Derrick) Jernigan, Ellen (Louis) Knerr, Hannah Morgan, and Halli (Brenton) Smith; eight great grandchildren, Kayla Doss, Hailey Knerr, Courtney Doss, Lauren Knerr, Miles Holder, Natalie Jernigan, Julie Jernigan, and Kaspian Morgan, and one great great grandchild, Cole Adams.
