Jerry E. Cantrell

Jerry Cantrell, 88, passed away on October 4, 2026, in Marietta, GA. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia.

Jerry was a native of Cartersville, Georgia, growing up in Atlanta and graduating from O'keefe High School before moving to Cobb County. He married the love of his life Mary Peed in 1958 and celebrated 54 years of marriage before her passing in 2012. He was a member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. He loved gospel music singing with the Monarchs, he also loved fishing, hunting, Atlanta Braves, Falcons and spending time with his family. Jerry was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

Jerry is survived by two sons: Alan (Linda) Cantrell of Marietta, GA and Barry (Jan) Cantrell of Dallas, GA; sister: Linda Delph of Georgia; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
