Jeanette Lexanne Fricks, 62, passed away on May 3, 2025, in Kennesaw, GA. Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 pm on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father William Bobby Abney.
Lexanne was a native and lifelong resident of Cobb County. She was a founding member of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church where she has served the last 40 plus years in multiple ministries such as the nursery and youth departments, mission trips. Her true passion was being a part of the BHBC Preschool as a teacher for over 30 years. She especially loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jeff Fricks of Kennesaw; daughter, Ashley Fricks (Jason) Hembree; son, Will Fricks (Eve Tucker); three grandchildren, Jadyn Hembree, Landyn Fricks and Hayes Hembree; mother, Lula Mae Hutson Abney; sister, Stephania Abney and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 12, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church.
