Jean B. Stephens

Jean Bell Stephens, 90, of Marietta, entered the gates of heaven on January 3, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. Burial will be private. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert "Buddy" Stephens, her parents RS and Gladys Bell, and three sisters: Dorothy, Frieda, and Annel. She was a beloved mother, and a cherished friend.

Jean was born September 13,1935, in Atlanta, GA. She was a Godly woman who volunteered and contributed to many churches in her life. At the time of her death, Jean was a long-standing member of Cornelia Christian Church in Cornelia, Georgia. Jean found her greatest joy in her family, nurturing her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with unwavering support. Organizing family gatherings, cooking, traveling, and visiting the beach were her favorite hobbies. Even though homemaking was Jean's favorite job, she also explored working outside the home as a telephone operator, a flower shop owner, an assistant librarian, an insurance clerk and bookkeeper. 

Jean is survived by daughter Cheryl Clever (Tim), son Pat Stephens, daughter Kristi Pinson (Vince), granddaughter Brianne Culbreath (Jamie), grandson Alex Clever (Ashton), great grandchildren Callen Culbreath, Anders Clever,Ryan Culbreath, Amelia Clever and many special nieces and nephews. 

Family will receive friends Friday, January 9, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
