Janice O'Donald, wife of Bobby O'Donald for 22 years, passed away on October 23, 2026, after a long illness. She was a 1979 graduate of Osborne High School. Janice built a successful career in the medical and disability industry, dedicating 24 years of service to Regional Reporting Inc. (RRI) and ultimately retiring as Director of Client Support.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Janice brought warmth to those around her. When she was able, she especially loved going out shopping and exploring antique malls with her dear friend, June Peters. In recent years, her deep faith became her anchor. Though unable to attend church physically, she spent her time devotedly studying her KJV Bible and watching her favorite preachers on YouTube and Facebook, holding fast to her unwavering faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, and knowing the power of the blood He shed for her.
Janice is survived by her loving husband, Bobby O'Donald; her sister, Julie Ashley of Powder Springs, GA; two daughters, Kellie Cargile (Millwood) and Missy Millwood both of Powder Springs, GA; and her two beloved grandchildren, Kamryn Elaine Flores and Christopher Cargile, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Joyce Ashley of Marietta, GA.
A memorial service will be held on November 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church of West Cobb, located at 5415 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
