James Robert “Billy” Davis, 71, of Dallas, GA passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, April 13, 2013 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Jimmy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Davis lived most of his life in Cobb County and worked for over 20 years at Sims Service Station in Marietta as a mechanic. He was a member of Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ann “Dot” Davis of Dallas; children, Rhonda (Greg) Pruitt of Dallas, Connie (Phil) Thomas of Dallas and Shane (Alison) Davis of Marietta; Brothers, Raymond Davis, Charlie Davis and Wayne Davis; Sisters, Bernice Richardson, Polly Queen and Imogene Smith; and grandchildren, Billy Anderson, Keith Thomas and Summer Pruitt.
The family will receive friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 5:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
