Gregory Joseph Malinak

Gregory Joseph Malinak, age 78, passed away on July 20, 2026. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, July 31, 2026, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Bill Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Malinak and brother Stephen Malinak.

Gregory was born in Albertville, AL to Frank Malinak and Floy Malinak and spent most of his life in Lilburn, Georgia. He loved snow skiing, traveling, movies, watching sports including the Atlanta Falcons and he especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Deborah Malinak of Lilburn, GA; two daughters, Heather Malinak of Peachtree Corners, GA and Keli (Vadim) Timchenko of Sugar Hill, GA, mother, Floy Malinak of Southlake, TX, granddaughter, Ava Timchenko, nephew, Keith (Kari) Malinak and several other family members.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 31, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
