Grace Gunter Roukoski

Grace Gunter Roukoski, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on September 23, 2024 in Suwanee, Georgia. Born on May 30, 1932, in Marietta, Georgia, Grace lived a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family.

A high school graduate, Grace devoted her life primarily to her family, taking on the role of a homemaker while also contributing to the family business. Her kind-hearted and friendly personality endeared her to many, and she was known for her unwavering Christian faith that guided her through life's many challenges and triumphs.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Roukoski, who passed away in 2008. Together they shared a paradise of love and companionship, celebrating many moments, including their wedding anniversary on September 20 each year.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Melinda Sevin (Bruce), and her devoted son, Steve Roukoski (Marian), 5 grandchildren; Brad Roukoski (Heather), Randi Langley (Toney), Tiffany Densmore (Nathan), Stephanie Dozier, and Jarret Sevin (Gretchen) and 16 beautiful great grandchildren. Her family will remember her as a nurturing figure who instilled strong values and principles, leaving a lasting legacy of love.

Friends and family are invited to honor Grace's memory at a funeral service on September 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM, held at West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA. Following the service, a graveside service will take place at Kennesaw Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.

There will also be a visitation for those who wish to pay their respects on September 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org). 

Grace Roukoski's life was a testament to love and faith, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
