Grace Bako was born on May 5th, 1991, in Bulawayo. Grace lived a life that was anything but ordinary. From a young age, she carried herself with poise, confidence, and a natural elegance that could not be taught. She began her education at Coghlan Primary School, later attending Khumalo Primary School, before completing her secondary education at Evelyn Boarding School (Forms 1–4) and Convent Girls High (Forms 5–6). Even then, it was clear she was destined for a future far greater than her surroundings.

Her journey took her to Germany as an Aupair — a season that stretched her emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Yet Grace confronted every challenge with courage. She never folded. Instead, she grew stronger, wiser, and more determined. She understood something many people never grasp life does not simply happen to you — you rise and shape it.

Grace later moved to the United States, where she attended Temple University. There, she flourished effortlessly. She joined Student Government, formed friendships that became family, and established herself as a young woman who carried influence, excellence, and confidence wherever she went.

After graduating, Grace found her home at Delta Air Lines — a place perfectly aligned with her love for travel and high standards. Grace didn’t just work at Delta; she thrived. She rose, she shined, she soared. She traveled to more than 10 countries, embraced cultures, explored cities, and lived life with a bold, fearless sense of adventure. She loved luxury, she loved beauty, and she loved the finer things in life — and she carried them with style, not arrogance. She had a presence that made people turn their heads.

Grace didn’t walk into rooms quietly. She entered with purpose. She commanded attention. She carried undeniable class and confidence. People noticed her. People respected her. People admired her.

She earned the title “Boss Lady” not because she called herself that, but because her life, her dignity, and her work ethic demanded it. She was cool, composed, stylish, and strong — a woman who lived boldly and fearlessly, always refusing to settle for anything less than excellence.

Yet beyond her elegance and confidence was a deeply spiritual woman. Grace was a proud and faithful member of Winners Chapel, where she served God wholeheartedly. She loved worship, valued community, and walked with an unwavering belief that God’s promises never fail.

Family was everything to her. She leaves behind her loving mother and family members who cherished her beyond words. Their bond was rooted in love, sacrifice, support, and memories that will forever bring comfort.

Though her life was short, her impact is immeasurable. She lived beautifully, fought bravely, dreamed boldly, and inspired many with her warmth, generosity, and unbreakable spirit.

We thank God that she now rests in His everlasting peace. As Revelation 14:13 (GNT) declares:

“Happy are those who from now on die in the service of the Lord! Yes indeed, says the Spirit. They will enjoy rest from their hard work, because the results of their service go with them.”

Grace has entered her rest. She has finished her race. Her legacy remains alive in every life she touched.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.
