Frederick Michael Caylor

Mr. Frederick Michael Caylor, age 80, of Mableton, GA passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Central Baptist Church in Marietta with Pastor Leonard Chambers officiating. Burial will follow at 1pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with military honors.

A native of Tennessee, Mr. Caylor moved to Mableton in 1974. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist with Lockheed, retiring after 37 years of employment. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Marietta, and he loved to cook and watch the Georgia Bulldogs. When his boys were young, he also enjoyed umpiring their Little League games.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rita Sue Caylor; two sons, Michael (Lori) Caylor, Marietta, GA, and Brian Caylor, Marietta, GA; sister, Barbara Lee, Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Steve Caylor, Powder Springs, GA; three grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, and Logan; three great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bella, and Mia.

The family will receive friends from 9:30am until 10:30am on Wednesday, May 13th prior to the service at Central Baptist Church.
