Faye Gwendolyn Patterson

Mrs. Faye Gwendolyn Patterson, age 87, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 17, 2026 in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Georgia Memorial Park with Pastor Adam Mathews officiating. The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am prior to the ceremony at the funeral home.

A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Patterson moved to Cobb County in 1960. She loved to decorate her home, and had worked as a seamstress at Jeanette's Decorating Service in Smyrna for 22 years. She was also a longtime dedicated member of Macland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Milton Patterson, in 2015, and a son, Wayne Anthony Patterson, in February of 2026.

She is survived by two sons, Alan Brian (Barbara) Patterson, Powder Springs, GA, and Lee Milton (Shannon) Patterson, Statam, GA; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
