Elizabeth R. Sellers

April 5, 1945 — June 28, 2025

Marietta, GA

Beth Sellars, age 80, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beth was born in Dallas, GA on April 4, 1945, and had lived in Marietta, GA for the past 44 years. She survived polio as a child giving her determination and a deep appreciation for living life to the fullest.

Beth enjoyed a 37-year career as an engineer for Bell South. In her service to Bell South, she travelled to many cities across the United States and lived in Memphis and the Atlanta area. Beth retired the early 2000s and devoted herself to serving people to the glory of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A lifelong Baptist, Beth and Jerry attended Macland Baptist Church for over twenty-five years and more recently at Woodstock First Baptist Church.

Beth's heart was for children and bringing them to Jesus as she taught Sunday school classes for decades filling her classes with love and wonderful arts and crafts. She was always so overly prepared to love on the children she served - they were like her own kids. Beth was able to take her love for the Lord to the children of Romania by using her passion for teaching on many mission trips with Woodstock First Baptist Church.

Beth's other passion was spending time with her family. Beth and Jerry helped create long-lasting memories for their family and friends over the past forty years as they generously entertained at their home on Lake Hartwell. Beth made sure their home was open through the summer so she could share her love of the lake and being together. Their 4th of July gatherings at the lake were legendary.

She is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Jerry Sellers, her brother Bob Ragsdale and sister Treva Chapel, and multiple loving nieces and nephews, which Beth loved as her own.

A Memorial Service will be announced soon. Please visit her website for future announcements.
