Elizabeth Margaret Oakley, age 92, of Acworth, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at her home. She was born October 23, 1929 to Lester and Bessie Smith in Ducktown, Tennessee.
Ms. Oakley is survived by two daughters, Susan (son-in-law Larry) Cook of Marietta, GA, and Cindy Andrews of Acworth, GA; two grandsons, Matthew Cook of Atlanta, GA and Travis (Kymberli) Cook of Dallas, TX. In addition, she had two great-granddaughters, Haddie and Sophie Cook of Dallas, TX.
Up until shortly before her death, Ms. Oakley was working as a seamstress at Kennesaw Enterprises in Acworth. Some of her hobbies included sewing, coloring, and she was an avid reader.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
