Doretha Panton

Doretha Panton, age 79, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away September 16, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, with Apostle Arthur Belcher officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. She was a member at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Doretha loved her family and some hobbies included The University of Georgia Bulldogs, being outdoors. In her free time, she loved gardening and doing yardwork. She is preceded in death by her parents Jimmy Lee Brown and Minnie Lee Hicks; Sisters: Kaylee Jackson and Josie Mae Ashley; Brothers: Bonnett Belcher, Jimmy Louis Brown.

Survivors include: Her loving husband, Clifton Panton, Children: Tracey Ogbuji of Thomasville, GA., and Tonya Gordon of Dallas, GA.; Sisters: Bobby Jean Butts of Eastman, GA, Andrea James (Jimmie) of Eastman, GA., Warnell Irvin of Dublin, GA., Rosa Lee Mitchell of Eastman, GA., Minnie Pearl Seal (Henry) of Eastman, GA.;Brothers: Arthur Belcher (Sharon) of Eastman, GA., W.L. Brown (Peggy) of Cadwell, GA., Jerry Brown of Eastman, GA., Willie JR. Brown of Cadwell, GA.; Grandchildren: Rondrez Splices,Jazz Hughes aand Savanna Ogbuji.
