Diane Louise Eyer

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Louise Eyer, age 67, of Douglasville, Georgia, who passed away on October 9, 2026.

Diane was born on April 23, 1959, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. It was there that she met her best friend and the love of her life, Gerald.

After devoting her life to raising their three children, Diane chose a career in education. She taught young adults with learning disabilities and later transitioned to teaching pre-K children.

Outside of work, she lived a quiet, peaceful life rooted in the simple pleasures that brought her genuine happiness. She enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales, and gardening. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.

Diane leaves behind her husband of 48 years, Gerald Eyer; her children, Jessica Eyer, Justin and Amber Eyer, and Jacob and Hallie Eyer; her four grandchildren, Blake and Brayden Smith, and Shawn and Samantha Eyer; her two great-granddaughters, Austella and Mazeliegh Smith; and her two brothers, Randy and Dale Moyer.
