Obituary

Debborah Ann Smith, born on December 3, 1977, was a vibrant presence whose infectious energy and dedication to her craft touched the lives of many. She transitioned peacefully on February 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by passion, creativity, and a profound love for her family and clients.

Debborah’s journey began with her education at the International School of Skin, Nail Care, and Massage Therapy, from which she graduated in August 2006. Following this, she became a licensed esthetician with the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers on July 1st, 2015. Her commitment to professional development continued as she became PCA Skin certified in chemical peels and science applications in October 2018, and subsequently joined the Associated Skin Care Professionals in August 2019.

Debborah’s career took root in the bustling beauty industry, where she honed her skills at ULT A Fragrance, Cosmetics and Salon, and Mirage Styling Salon and Day Spa in Atlanta between 2005 and 2012. In late 2013, she took the courageous step of opening her own facial spa, Skinfabulous. Originally located in Austell, Georgia, Debborah later relocated her business to Marietta, where her exceptional talent and genuine warmth created a welcoming atmosphere for her clients. She was not just an esthetician; she was an educator who cherished sharing knowledge, building relationships, and uplifting those around her. Her passion illuminated the room, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

Outside of her professional life, Debborah embraced a variety of interests that highlighted her zest for life. She was drawn to the outdoors, finding solace in the sand beneath her feet and joy in dining out with loved ones. Music, dance, and cooking brought her immense joy, and her curiosity about history enriched her understanding of the world. Additionally, Debborah explored spiritual practices involving tuning forks, singing bowls, and healing crystals, engaging in card readings and grounding meditative techniques that reflected her holistic approach to life.

Debborah is survived by her loving partner, Stefan Poulin, and her devoted children, Brandon Smith, Shelby Rose, and Kevin Prettyman. She is also remembered fondly by her mother, Diep Browning; her brothers, Scott Smith and Donnie Pham; and her extended family, including uncles Peter Smith and Tim Smith, aunts Darnell Tucker and Juanita Wasylenka, as well as her grandparents, Charles Junior Smith and Bonnie Jean Smith.

She was predeceased by her father, Stewart Jay Smith, as well as her uncle Craig Smith and aunts Carrol Hopper and Connie Wilemon.
