David Floyd

David Floyd, age 81, passed away on December 3, 2025. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Richard Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens at [disposition_time] in Mableton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Shirley Mae Floyd in 2007 and granddaughter Kimmie Payne.

David was born in Porterdale GA, to Roy Floyd and Ruby Floyd. David attended Concord Baptist Church when he was able to go. David loved hunting, fishing, camping and had a passion for working on cars. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

David is survived by: two daughters: Marsha Payne of Austell, GA and Cheryl Henderson of Marietta, GA; son: Mark Floyd of Mableton, GA; six grandchilren; six great-grandchilren. sister: Wanda Davis of Covington, GA; several neices and nephews.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
