Cynthia Lee Stingone, 67, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025. Born on December 28, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Cynthia-affectionately known as Cindy-was the cherished daughter of Elizabeth Rietz and the late Earl Eugene Gratton, and stepdaughter of Tom Rietz.
Cindy was a beautiful soul, renowned for her loving, incredibly funny, kind, and generous spirit. Her deep devotion to her family, her unwavering faith in God, and her love for animals and Our Journey Church touched everyone who knew her. She shared a special bond with her best friend and caregiver, Annie Roberts, with whom she lived in Marietta. Cindy's warmth and infectious laughter filled the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting legacy of love and kindness.
Cindy is survived by her daughter, Dena Stingone; her granddaughter, Asia Maree Stingone ( Her Husband Matheus ) ; her great grandson Matheus Stingone; her grandson, Nekoandre Stingone; her sisters, Deb Colosimo (Joe Deb's husband) and Georgeann Gratton; her nieces and nephews; her mother, Elizabeth Rietz; and her stepfather, Tom Rietz. She was predeceased by her father, Earl Eugene Gratton, and her brother, Robert Gratton.
Cindy will be cremated, and an online memorial service will be held to celebrate her life, with details to be announced. Arrangements are being handled by West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Our Journey Church in Marietta, made in Cindy's memory. Cindy is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family and friends, but her radiant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
