On July 17, 2026, after a lifetime of love and blessings, Jesus called Cynthia (Cindi) Bender home. Cindi loved with her whole heart, forgave with her whole being, and fought for her loved ones and what she knew was right with all of the ferocity and fire of a true redhead. She was the glue that bound her family and friends together. Everyone who met her were touched by her kindness and her heart.
Cindi was born on April 17, 1959, at Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Cindi is survived by her husband Eric Bender, her son Shaun Wallace, her grandchildren Elijah Wallace, Kaiden Wallace, and Gavin Wallace. her brother Durward (Dee) Jordan, her daughter-in-law Heather Wallace, her mother-in-law Audrey Bender, her nephews Ryan Thompson and Andrew Lundquist, her nieces Jessica Jordan and Hailey Lundquist, her sister-in-law Julie Lundquist, and her brother-in-law Albert Lundquist.
Cindi is having her joyful reunion with her beloved son Joshua Bender, her father Durward (DL) Jordan, better known as Pop, her mother Carolyn Jordan, her brothers Michael and Marcus Jordan, her sister Nancee Jordan, and her sister of the heart Debi Cook.
Cindi wanted the best for everyone and demonstrated it in the spirit of her most beloved scripture:
Numbers 6:24
The Lord bless you and keep you, The Lord make His face shine upon and be gracious to you, The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
As you are led, please pray for her family, grieve the world's loss, and celebrate Cindi!
